The quintessential entrepreneur, Leo Birov founded Heritage Luxury Builders in 1989 when he decided to build his own home in Winnetka. In mastering home construction, Leo was able to leverage his extensive engineering experience, including years of experience working at Motorola as a senior electronics engineer and master's degree in engineering. When he built his first home, Leo served as his own general contractor, learning the construction business from the foundation up. When his own home was completed, Leo went on to construct each and every one of Heritage's custom homes with the same attention to detail and quality as if it were his own. Through the years, Leo has managed and been involved hands on in every one of Heritage's homes, gaining invaluable experience of the construction, architectural, building and zoning and construction management facets of the business. With an unparalleled knowledge of the details of home construction and the North Shore real estate market, Leo is responsible for the unprecedented growth and success of Heritage Luxury Builders.

After more than 20 years, Heritage Luxury Builders has become the premier luxury builder on the North Shore, and is expanding its business rapidly to other areas including the City of Chicago and Milwaukee suburbs. To date, Heritage Luxury Builders has built almost 100 custom luxury homes on the North Shore of Chicago in various architectural styles and has set the bar for quality luxury construction in the area.

Milena Birov helped her husband, Leo Birov, originate Heritage Luxury Builders over 20 years ago and has been an integral part of the company ever since. In addition to being a guiding light behind the expansion of Heritage over the years, Milena has been involved in the construction of each of Heritage's homes.

Additionally, Milena is the primary realtor representing Heritage and has been selling Heritage's beautiful homes since the company was founded. Although Milena has worked in many areas of real estate, her specialty is new construction. During her career in real estate, Milena has sold over 100 beautiful houses built by Heritage. Being a part of the company gives her a greater understanding of the construction process, including the materials used and the costs involved, as well as the needs and desires of buyers in today's luxury home market. Milena is able to use her expertise in new construction when working with her clients on finding the home of their dreams. Being a resident of Winnetka, Milena brings an extensive knowledge of the North Shore to selling real estate, and developing Heritage's future.

Milena is a licensed Illinois real estate Broker and is a member of the Heritage Team at @Properties North Shore.

Victoria has served as general legal counsel to Heritage Luxury Builders since 2004, drafting and negotiating the company's contracts with clients, vendors and sub-contractors, and providing general legal advice. Prior to joining Heritage, Victoria graduated from New York University School of Law and clerked for the Honorable Judge Harry D. Leinenweber, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois. After completing her clerkship, Victoria practiced law as an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom for six years, working on various corporate, bankruptcy and litigation matters and as well as many pro bono litigation cases.

After joining Heritage, Victoria's passion for art and design has come to dominate her role with the company. Putting her extensive art and design studies from the Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Chicago to good use, Victoria is in charge of interior design for Heritage's custom homes, including the design and selection of most finishes as well as cabinetry and tile design. Victoria's keen eye for impeccable home design and clean lines and understanding of the needs of today's modern family have helped make Heritage's homes the standard for luxury living on the North Shore. Victoria is also a valuable asset to clients making their design choices for their own custom homes, and works with clients to smoothly guide them through all aspects of the selection process.

Victoria is a licensed Illinois real estate Broker and is a member of the Heritage Team at @Properties North Shore.

Steve made his career path into the family's custom luxury homebuilding business in 2006 by way of Wall Street. Prior to joining Heritage Luxury Builders, Steve earned his MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University and then spent several years at First Chicago / Bank One / JP Morgan structuring and selling interest rate, equity, and commodity derivatives products to the bank's corporate and institutional clients. After leaving the bank, Steve spent five years as a trader at a hedge fund where he successfully managed and grew the firm's relative-value focused convertible arbitrage trading strategy.

Steve brings a client-focused, highly organized and detail-oriented approach to Heritage Luxury Builders. His ability to seamlessly guide clients through the custom building process and make the construction of clients' dream homes into an efficient and hassle-free experience has helped to transform the company into the premier custom homebuilder on the North Shore. During his years with the company, Steve has gained extensive construction knowledge by managing all aspects of Heritage's construction projects at the grass roots level. Steve's responsibilities include managing all aspects of the company's custom home projects, general business development, and building the Heritage Luxury Builders brand name through various co-marketing and sponsorship channels.

Steve is a licensed Illinois Realtor and is a member of the Heritage team at @Properties North Shore.
